Step 1
Open Outlook Express

Click on Tools, then highlight Message Rules and select Mail.
You will see the following screen

The Following Screen Appears

To set the Filter to detect the spam and store it in a folder (so you don’t lose email)
Check the boxes in 1. and 2. as below.
Setting the filter to delete the tagged mail skip to step 8.

You should get a box that looks like the one below.

Now click on the word specified in box number 3. and the following screen will appear

select New Folder and type SPAM Click OK you should see
the folder SPAM added to the list. Click
OK again and you should get the following screen The last thing to do is fill out

To review you filtered email just click on the folder SPAM and check to see if any of the email are incorrectly tagged as spam. If you are losing email call the office and we can adjust your settings to stop the lose or valid email . 905-834-6388

Click OK and you are ready to filter.
