Terms and Conditions of Use

This policy is a guideline for acceptable use of your Internet Technologies Inc. internet account. All iTCANADA customers are responsible for ensuring that these terms and conditions are met. These policies are fully explained in the Acceptable Use Policy. Questions about this policy may be sent to billing@itcanada.com .

  1. You are responsible for ensuring that your computer meets the minimum system requirements: 486, 8MB RAM, 14.4k modem. If your computer does not meet these requirements iTCANADA is not responsible for any connection difficulties you may have as a result.
  2. You are responsible for getting and maintaining any software required to make use of your iTCANADA connection.
  3. iTCANADA will offer support for configuring internet and email programs, but cannot provide support for other system software.
  4. iTCANADA  provides no warranties for any internet or email or other connection software you may run on your computer. We assume no responsibility for any damages that may result from the use of such software.
  5. If you suspect someone may be using your account without your permission you are required to notify iTCANADA immediately. Otherwise you are responsible for any damages caused by such unauthorized use.
  6. Spamming (sending out unsolicited commercial email) is prohibited.
  7. You may not have a business website on a residential account without prior permission of iTCANADA.
  8. Renewal invoices are sent out by email 30 days before payment is due.
  9. Accounts are payable in advance, and you agree to pay all regular fees and overages when they are due. If your account is at any time overdue, it will be placed on hold and your internet access suspended until such time as all outstanding invoices have been paid.
  10. Violation of the terms and conditions of use will result in termination of your account. For serious violations, iTCANADA will terminate your account without notice.
  11. If your account is terminated because of violation of these terms, no refund will be issued.
  12. To cancel your iTCANADA account you must email cancelation@itcanada.com .If you call our office you still must provide an email verification to the above address.
  13. If you request that iTCANADA cancel your account, refunds will be issued by cheque and may take up to 8 weeks. You will be refunded the unused portion of your subscription (only for each full month unused) less any overages due.

Additional Terms and Conditions for The Gold! Plan

  1. This is not a dedicated connection. Your connection may be active for a maximum of 6 hours at a time. After this time you will be disconnected. You may, however, reconnect immediately if you wish. iTCANDA reserves the right to reset a connection at any time without notice.
  2. You must be in front of your computer, using your iTCANADA connection. You cannot use email or a ping program (or any other "keep alive" program) to keep your connection active.
  3. This Unlimited plan may not be used for a corporate account or by any business. We also do not allow domain hosting or static IP addresses with this account.
  4. This plan does not support concurrent logins from the same or different locations. That means you cannot share your account with others, and you also cannot use a double-modem connection (multilink).
  5. You cannot run server software on your computer.
  6. When the line usage percentage starts to rise above an acceptable level (i.e. during normal heavy usage times), subscribers to the unlimited plan who have been online the longest will be disconnected.

We reserve the right to terminate any account which violates any of these terms of use.
